Following my own cancer journey and surgery in 2023, I chose to complete advanced training with the Cancer Exercise Training Institute (CETI) to gain the specialised knowledge and skills needed to design safe, effective, and individualised Oncology Exercise and Pilates programs for cancer patients — at every stage of their journey. This includes tailored support before surgery (prehabilitation), during treatment, and throughout recovery.

Contrary to what many believe, research shows that exercise and Pilates during cancer treatment can provide powerful physical and emotional benefits. Regular, carefully guided movement helps to rebuild strength, improve mobility, reduce fatigue, restore confidence, and support overall well-being.

At Firefly Pilates, I’m passionate about helping individuals regain control of their bodies through safe, restorative movement — empowering them to heal, recover, and thrive.
