Children need around an hour of exercise every day — and with rising rates of childhood obesity, it’s more important than ever for parents to encourage active habits that keep kids healthy and strong.
These days, many children are spending more time on mobile phones and tablets, which not only reduces their physical activity but can also lead to poor posture. Pilates offers a wonderful solution — it’s a “two-for-one,” helping to improve body awareness and weight management while also supporting the healthy development of growing muscles and bones.

I offer modified and fun Pilates with props on the Mat to children 5-11 for 45 minutes; and modified Mat and Apparatus Pilates to children 12 and up, for an hour. They really do love it. It works especially well in the Duet sessions. Get them to bring a buddy!
